As an administrator, you can enable Priority Booking for assigned workspaces. This feature allows other users to reserve an assigned workspace if it hasn’t been booked by the assignee by a set date and time. Priority Booking helps ensure that space is utilized effectively rather than going unused.
Steps to Add Priority Booking
Select the assigned workspace you’d like to enable Priority Booking for.
Navigate to the Access & Restrictions tab and toggle on the Priority Booking checkbox.
Note: Priority Booking only works if the workspace has Restricted Access enabled.
Set the Day and Time when the workspace should open for reservations by users it is not primarily assigned to.
Example 1: If set to Same Day at 9:00 a.m., and the workspace is not booked by its assignee(s) that day, others can book it starting at 9:00 a.m.
Example 2: If set to 1 Day Before at 5:00 p.m., and the workspace is not booked by its assignee(s) by that time, others can book it for the upcoming day.
(Optional) To allow any Tactic user to book the workspace once Priority Booking opens, check Add All Tactic Users to the Secondary Assignment Group.
Adding a Secondary Group
If you want to specify which users or teams can book the workspace when it becomes available:
Leave Add All Tactic Users to the Secondary Assignment Group unchecked.
Select the + Add Assignment button and choose Add Secondary Group from the dropdown.
Select the users and/or teams you’d like in the Secondary Group.
Click Save.
The workspace will now open to the designated users or groups based on your Priority Booking settings.
