How to export data from a Tactic report

Updated over a year ago

Monitoring and analyzing office usage data in Tactic is a great way to better understand how to optimize your space and identify different hybrid work trends occurring at your company. The steps below will walk you through you you can export that data for further analysis, if needed.

Step 1: Navigate to Reports on Tactic

On the left-hand navigation pane of the Tactic web application, you'll see Reports as the fourth option down. Click there to navigate to Tactic Reports.

Reports are only accessible if you are an administrator on your organization's Tactic account.

Step 2: View reservation table

Once there, you will want to select View Reservation Table where you will be able to see a table of all reservations and their associated details.

Depending on what features you have enabled in Tactic, you'll see different tabs along the top. It will default to desk data, but if you would like to view another set of data (e.g., meeting room or visitor data), simply click on the tab you're interested in.

Step 3: Filter the data

Once you are on the reports dashboard, you can use the filters to drill down to the specific data set you are interested in.

Please note that you will typically want the Status filter to be set to "Confirmed" as that will show you all reservations that actually occurred (versus include ones that were cancelled for one reason or another).

Step 4: Download the data

Once the table is filtered as you'd like, you can easily download the data by selecting the three dots at the top right of the table and selecting Download results. You'll then prompted to select what file type you'd like to use.

Once that's done, you should be all set! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Tactic Support for additional information.
