How to sign in to an existing Tactic account

Updated over a year ago

Account Access

If you're having trouble accessing an existing Tactic account, don't worry, we've got you covered. Follow these easy steps and you'll be back to exploring Tactic in no time.

Before we get started, let's make sure you're in the right place.

  • If you need help resetting your password, this article will help.

  • If you don’t have a user account or if you do but you're seeing a message about needing a join code, there's an article for that here.

Logging into Tactic

There are three ways to sign into Tactic.

  1. Username & Password

  2. Google Sign-in

  3. Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO)

If you’re not sure which method you should be using, that’s ok. We will redirect you to the correct flow based on your email address.

Steps

  1. Start by going to www.gettactic.com

  2. Click on the “Login” button on the top right corner of the page.

  3. Enter your email address and click “Continue”

At this point, you will be redirected to one of three places.

  • A standard username/password form

  • A login page with the option to use Google Sign-in

  • Your organization’s SSO sign-in provider (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, etc)

Once you’ve completed the sign in process for any one of the options above (including any two-factor authentication requirements your organization may have) the end result is the same. You will be redirected back to the Tactic dashboard.

If you sign in but don't see the dashboard, you're likely seeing a message about using a join code. In that case, please read the article here.

That’s it! You should be able to get access to your Tactic account by following these steps.
