How to Integrate Tactic with Microsoft Teams
Tactic's integration with Microsoft Teams makes it easy for your team members to create and check in to office reservations directly from Teams. In this article, we will show you how to install the necessary Tactic app in your Teams account.
💡 Note: Organization settings are only visible to your company's designated Tactic Admins.
Step 1: Navigate to Org Integrations
Log in to your Tactic account and click on the Settings button in the top right corner.
Select Integrations & Apps from the drop-down menu.
Once on the Integrations page, make sure to navigate to the Org Integrations tab, which is only visible to Tactic admins.
Step 2: Link Your Teams Tenant ID
On the Org Integrations page, click on the Get Started button to the right of the Teams logo.
A text box will appear asking you to link your Microsoft Tenant ID.
Paste your tenant ID into the text box and press Save.
💡 Note: You can find your Microsoft Teams tenant ID in your Teams client by clicking on Teams, opening up the ellipsis menu next to your team name, and clicking Get link to team. The tenant ID is listed at the end of the URL given. Make sure to only paste the tenant ID into Tactic and not the entire URL copied.
Step 3: Install the Tactic App in the Teams Client
Search for Tactic in the Apps section of your Teams client.
When adding the app, make sure to click the down arrow and press Add to a team. The app should be added to a team that contains all employees.
That's it! Tactic is now installed in your organization. To test the connection, send the bot a message and it will respond with the status.
With Tactic's integration with Microsoft Teams, your team members can easily create and check in to office reservations directly from Teams, making it more convenient and efficient.
