If you are an Administrator or Scheduler in your organization's Tactic account, you have the ability to reserve a workspace on behalf of someone else.
Step 1: Select the “+” Button
Click the “+” button in the top-left corner, next to your profile photo.
You can also create a reservation directly from the map:
- Click on an available desk you want to reserve.
- Select Reserve.
- At the top of the reservation module, choose Create Reservation for Another User.
- Search for and select the user you want to reserve for.
Note: If the Allow Concurrent Reservations setting is disabled, a Scheduler who already has a reservation on the same day will not be able to reserve a desk for another user through the map. In this case, reservations can only be made using the “+” button.
Step 2: Select “Create Reservation for Another User”
On the module that opens, you’ll see the option + Create Reservation for Another User at the top.
Select that option and search for the user you want to book on behalf of.
Note: If this option does not appear, your account does not have permission to reserve workspaces for others. Contact an Administrator in your Tactic account to request access to this feature.
Step 3: Reserve!
Once you've selected the user you'd like to book on behalf of, confirm the reservation details are correct and hit Reserve! The workspace will be reserved for that user and will now appear in there dashboard accordingly.
Viewing or Editing Reservations You Created
If you want to view, edit, or delete a reservation you created, you can do so by clicking your profile photo in the bottom-left corner and selecting Admin. There, you’ll be able to see all reservations you have created and make any necessary changes. This applies to both Schedulers and Admins.
