How to Reserve a Meeting Room with Tactic


If your organization uses Tactic Rooms, you have the ability to easily schedule a meeting, reserve a conference room, invite attendees, and provide a meeting agenda.

There are many different ways to reserve a meeting room within Tactic, depending on the platform or integration you're using. In this article, we'll cover how to reserve a room from your desktop browser.

Reserve a meeting room from the Home screen

  1. Upon logging in, click Reserve Room on the top right of the screen.

  2. A modal will appear with filters, allowing you to select the desired date, time, and duration.

  3. Once selecting the meeting details, you have the option of inviting specific attendees or an entire team to the meeting.

  4. The room selection drop down will now populate with all rooms that are available during the given date/time/duration.

  5. Once you find the room that fits your needs, click Reserve Room to confirm the reservation.

💡 Note: If the selected meeting room has been marked by an administrator as requiring approval, the meeting invitation will be help in a pending queue. Once approved, it will appear as a confirmed reservation on your Home screen.


Reserve a meeting room from the Tactic Map

  1. From the Dashboard, navigate to the interactive office map by clicking on the Map icon on the left side of the screen.

  2. Once there, use the date and time filters to view what resources are available. Additionally, you have the ability to zoom into the map, filter for NCF chipped desks, and search for specific resources.

  3. Hover over a resource to see its general information. Meeting rooms with a green node are available to reserve.

  4. Click on the available room you wish to reserve and a menu will appear near the bottom of the screen. Click on Reserve Room.

  5. A modal will appear with filters, allowing you to select the desired date, time, and duration.

  6. Once selecting the meeting details, you have the option of inviting specific attendees or an entire team to the meeting.

  7. The room selection drop down will now populate with all rooms that are available during the given date/time/duration.

  8. Once you find the room that fits your needs, click Reserve Room to confirm the reservation.

💡 Note: If a resource is already reserved, or it has been restricted, the room will have a grey node. Click on each unavailable resource to see who has reserved the space and for how long.
