Integrate your organization's Tactic Account to Microsoft Teams

Walk through the steps required for a Tactic Administrator to get Tactic up and running in your Microsoft Teams workspace. This is the prerequisite for allowing your regular member-users to use Tactic in their Teams Desktop clients. If your member-users attempt to add Tactic to their Teams clients before a Tactic Administrator has added your organization's MS Tenant ID and approved the integration, they will see an error asking for an Administrator to set up this integration.

Step 2: Link Your Teams Tenant ID

  1. On the Org Integrations page, click on the Get Started button to the right of the Teams logo.

  2. A text box will appear asking you to link your Microsoft Tenant ID.

  3. Paste your tenant ID into the text box and press Save.

💡 Note: You can find your Microsoft Teams tenant ID in your Teams client by clicking on Teams, opening up the ellipsis menu next to your team name, and clicking Get link to team. The tenant ID is listed at the end of the URL given. Make sure to only paste the tenant ID into Tactic and not the entire URL copied

Step 3: Install the Tactic App in the Teams Client

  1. Search for Tactic in the Apps section of your Teams client.

  2. When adding the app, make sure to click the down arrow and press Add to a team. The app should be added to a team that contains all employees.

That's it! Tactic is now installed in your organization. To test the connection, send the bot a message and it will respond with the status.
